I had to shoot two images before the competition and the theme was "Silent Conversations"

My first image had to use only ambient light, while the second one had to be modified with artificial light, maintaining the same composition

I was tasked to do a triptych with the theme of chaos

My inspiration was how chaotic it would be to lose one of your senses

These autoportraits were shot and retouched the day of the competition

I had to photograph a local model from Regina, SK and i had 20 minutes to set up the studio, 15 with her and 30 minutes to retouch and submit this image

They gave me a mystery object, which was a set of plastic gems resembling diamonds. I had the idea to Photoshop one into the eye of my friend, who was also competing in a different trade. I had only 45 minutes to retouch and assemble the entire image, as I was very tight on time.

I was given the template for the magazine and had to photograph the image to go along with it, without leaving the competition grounds
